Days in Korea (8) —Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insadong, SSaemzigil, Dongseongno Street—

The last in Seoul, I prefered going to the Palace in the early morning. From Seoul Station I stopped in Gwanghwamun Station then took some pictures in the King Sejong statue, the first king founded the hangeul. Then we went to Gyeongbokgung Palace on foot. Along the street to the Palace, there’s an event to help the Myanmar buy selling handmade painted shoes.

At noon we headed to Daegu, meet Bee’s sister in her dorm in Keimyung University then had some walk in Dongseongno street. Dongseongno street just looks like Insadong on Myeongdong. There were a lot of shops along the street. And suddenly I met this veri handsome and cute Kim Woo Bin. At night we had dinner in a restaurant and eat chicken jjimdak. Large portion and sooooo delicious.

around 10 pm, we headed back to Busan. We stayed in Max Hotel in Sasang-gu near the airport. This was ended our trip in South Korea.
There are still many places that I really want to visit such as Everland, Hongdae, Namdaemun market, Dongdaemun market, Namsangol Village, Petite France, Banpo Bridge, Mt.Seorak and Jeju Island. Next time I’ll be there again.

Days in Korea (7) —Nami Island—

Finally, the main tourism place we really wanted to visit was Nami Island. By subway from Gimyujeong station we stopped in Gapyeong station. Took a taxi to go to the Nami Island Dock. To cross to the Nami Island we can go by ferry or by zip-wire which is more expensive than the ferry ticket. But we decided to go to the Nami Island by zip-wire. It was really high and funnnnnnn. .try it yourself to feel the sensation. I couldn’t take pictures or videos while I rode the zip-wire because it’s not allowed. Your camera may fall.

Days in Korea (6) —Gangchon Railpark—

On the third day in South Korea, we really wanted to visit rail bike near Seoul. Because we’d plan to visit Nami island that day, so we searched the railpark near our destinantion. Then we found and remembered about the railpark that had been visited by Runningman. It’s Gangchon Rail Park. Before we visited Nami island, we went to Gangchon Station by subway and took a taxi to go to the Gangchon Rail Park. The track is about 8,2 km from Gangchon station (the old one) to Gimyujeong Station. They provide shuttle bus to return to the station you started biking.

Arrived in the Gimyjeong Rail Park, we’re really exhausted and dehidrated. It were such a long track for us who rarely to do exercise. hahaha. .There we took some pictures, didn’t take the shuttle bus back to Gangchon station but took the subway headed to Gapyeong Station visited Nami island. Gangchon, Gimyujeong, and Gapyeong station is a very quite station that day. .

There we could see many indoor games such as roller coaster, parade and bumper car etc. image

image

image

image

image

image

I didn’t take many pictures here becase with the tight schedule I had, we’re busy to try the games there. :D
This Lotte World is designed in the indoor area, if you want to try the outdoor games you can visit Everland. Sadly I couldn’t visit there.

Days in Korea (4) —Myeongdong Market—

On the second day in Seoul, I spent my morning in the Myeongdong market. We had breakfast first, then go to Myeongdong Station. Outside the Myeongdong market you could find a lot of cosmetics shops and fashion shops. I of course had shopping there, my friends at the office asked me to buy some products there. I visited some cosmetic shops such as Club Clio, The Face Shop and Etude House.

image

image

I also visited the music shop of SM Entertainment idol’s shop named Everysing. Here you could find SM Entertainment idol’s albums and merchandises.

image

image

image

In Myeongdong market you could find music shops that sell kpop albums and its merchandise with good prices. I found it one there. .

image

image

image

At noon I visited my lovely and most wanted visited cafe owned by Kim Jaejoong (the member of JYJ). The cafe named Cafe Jholic. There I bought some drinks and of course merchandise of the cafe. I did hope I could see him at that time. But it seemed it couldn’t be happened because of the Triangle kdrama.Hhahaha. .

Days in Korea (3) —Cheonggyecheon Stream—

We arrived in Cheonggyecheon Stream (the famous stream in Seoul) at night around 9pm. We went there from Namsan Cable Car Center via Myeongdong Station and stopped in Gwanghwamun Station near Kyobo Bookstore (the famous and biggest bookstore in Korea , if I’m not wrong) or Cheonggye Plaza. In the middle of the Seoul city.

Because it’s already night so we assumed there’re much things we could see. but when we walked along the stream there’re still many people visiting, walking and chit-chatting along the stream..There were some cafes, restaurants and convenient stores which still opened until late night.

This is the end of our first day in Seoul South Korea. Anyway. . though there were so many new nice unique things I’d seen, I missed Indonesia so much on my first day there.

Days in Korea (2) — N Seoul Tower —

We went to Namsan Tower by cable car. To go to Namsan cable car center, we went to the Myeongdong station then walk along the street about 300 meters. The street was so quiet from people walking. It’s such and exhausting walk because the street was going up like we’re climbing a hill. Or just me and Bee who too exaggerated. We bought the return ticket then after queueing some times we went up by cable car. While riding the cable car, I suddenly memorized the scene of Boys Before Flowers kdrama. You must know the scene what I meant right?

image

image

image

image

Arrived at the Namsan Tower, we bought the ticket for the alive museum and the observation deck package. There is no more teddy bear museum there. There’re so much things that I could see such as Teddy Bear shop, cafe areas, love lock trees etc. You’d better visit there yourself. The (old series) Running Man episode was ever shooted here.

image

image

image

Actually I had brought my lock from Indonesia then wrapped it with some pink note written of me and my boyfriend’s initial :) then put it there with the others lock.

image

image

After put the lock and took lot of pictures, we went inside the Namsan Tower. On the first floor we could find the Alive museum and gift shop. The entrance gate. . for the Running Man’s fans. .you should know the scene with Joong Ki there. By the way, in the Alive museum, of course we could see many big 3D pictures on the wall and of course we didn’t miss the moment to take some pictures..not some but a lot of pictures..

Days in South Korea (1)

Last week I went to South Korea with my friend Bee. I went there just for a holiday :). We’d been there for 5 days and 4 night. We went there by AirAsia from Jakarta to Busan, but needed to transit first in Kuala Lumpur.

On Sunday evening around 6 pm we departed from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Then the flight to Busan was at 1 am Kuala Lumpur time and arrived in Busan at 08.45 in the Monday morning (Korean time).

After arrived in Gimhae International Station Busan South Korea, we needed to find any kind of transportation to go to Seoul, because we planned to have trip for 3 days in Seoul.

After asking the tourist information center at the Gimhae Int Airport, we decided to go to Seoul by KTX from Busan Station which stopped in Seoul Station. Fortunately the Seoul station really near to our guesthouse (24 Guesthouse Seoul Station). We took shuttle bus from Gimhae to Busan Station.

image

image

We arrived in Seoul around 2pm (Korean time). Before heading to the guesthouse, we stopped by the Korean restaurant in the station because long trip made us starving..hahaha..

image

And finally Kimbab is a good choice.

The guesthouse that we stayed while we stayed in Seoul is really near to the station, some office buildings and convenience stores. The guesthouse is nice as well as the staffsimage

and its interior design. Minimalist but hommy. The facilities is complete.

image

After washed our body and took a rest for while, we started our trip to Namsan Tower (N Seoul Tower).
